Your 2023 Membership Directors!

Co-Director of Campus Partnerships: Lillian Broughton

First up, is the Co-Director of Campus Partnerships, Lillian Broughton! Lillian is a senior and started her Jagathon journey her freshman year, as a committee member on the Special Ceremonies committee. She has previously been a committee member on the Marketing committee and last year she held the position of Director of Marketing. Lillian works alongside her co-director and they work together to form lasting partnerships with the student organizations on campus by attending meetings and events, sending out important information and show Jagathon's support for the amazing organizations on our campus. 

  • Hometown: Pittsboro, Indiana
  • Major: Photography
  • Fun Fact: Lillian has been doing photography for 12 years! 
  • Favorite Jagathon Memory: Final reveal in 2019 while on the Special Ceremonies committee. 
  • Why does Lillian dance?: Lillian dances because she believes that all kids should be able to live a happy and healthy life that flourishes as they grow. 

Co-Director of Campus Partnerships: Ariana Hendricks

Next up is our other Co-Director of Campus Partnerships, Ariana Hendricks! Ariana is a junior and this is her first year on the executive board. Ariana works alongside her co-director Lillian and they work together to form lasting partnerships with the student organizations on campus by attending meetings and events, sending out important information and showing Jagathon's support for the amazing organizations on our campus. 

  • Hometown: Avon, Indiana
  • Major: Pyschology 
  • Fun Fact: Ariana tells amazing jokes. 
  • Favorite Jagathon Memory:  Her first candlelight ceremony. She enjoyed being so close to everyone and sharing tears of inspiration, hope and empathy.
  • Why does Ariana dance?:  Ariana dances for Chad Keown and all the other Riley kids like him. She dances for the bright souls who continue to persevere everyday. She dances so kids can, so they can come home to their families, so they can share their story, so they can live the life they dream of having. 

Director of Committee Relations: Nicole Cermasco

The next director up is the Director of Committee Relations, Nicole Cremasco! Nicole is a sophomore and her Jagathon journey started her freshman year. She was a committee member on the Entertainment committee last year. Nicole's role is to oversee and engage our division members, help communicate important Jagathon information regularly, and hold all chamber and All Divison Meetings (ADM's).

  • Hometown: Valinhos, SP Brazil
  • Major:  Computer Science
  • Fun Fact: Nicole plays the sweet flute and she loves birthdya parties! 
  • Favorite Jagathon Memory: Exec retreat back in August. She believes it was a great way to meet everyone, have fun, and learn a lot about teamwork! 
  • Why does Nicole dance?: Nicole dances for all the kids around the world who have most, if not all, of their days in the hospital. Nicole dances so kids can be kids! 

Director of Committee Relations: Miranda Bishop

Next up, is the Director of Participant Relations, Miranda Bishop! Miranda is a senior and has previously been a committee member and the Social Chair on the Morale committee, Miranda 's role is communicating with Jagathon participants throughout the year to educate them about Jagathon and all Jagathon related events. She also organizes the Jagathon Ambassador Program to steward participants and help them create a memorable experience. 

  • Hometown: Cromwell, Connecticut 
  • Major: Social Work
  • Fun Fact: Miranda was only born with 2 wisdom teeth rather than the typical 4. 
  • Favorite Jagathon Memory: Seeing the final number raised at Jagathon 2022. 
  • Why does Miranda dance?: Miranda dances for equitable children's healthcare and for the funding of pediatric research. 

Director of Recruitment and Retention: Emma Bucher

Our last director is the Director of Recruitment and Retention, Emma Bucher! Emma is a junior and her Jagathon journey started her freshman year. She was previously a Color Wars Chair on the Recruitment committee and last year she was the Cause Connection Chair on the Family Relations committee. Emma's role is to focus on strategies to gain new division members and event participants through tabling and recruitment events. 

  • Hometown: Fort Wayne, Indiana
  • Major:  Nursing
  • Fun Fact:  Emma was a competitive dancer for 13 years! 
  • Favorite Jagathon Memory:  2022 Jagathon reveal. This was her first in-person Jagathon and this was such a precious moment to see what all of their hard work had accomplished. 
  • Why does Emma dance?: Emma dances for the Riley kids so they are able to dance as individuals and be our future!
