IUPUI Student Foundation

The IUPUI Student Foundation encourages students to serve their community, by gaining experience in the planning and execution of campus-wide events.

This student organization is comprised jointly of Jagathon: IUPUI’s Dance Marathon and the IUPUI chapter of VIDA Health Partnerships. Jagathon is an official Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) dance marathon supporting pediatric research at Riley Children’s Hospital. VIDA Health Partnerships is an organization at IUPUI that works to expand access to quality healthcare and to empower students and volunteers to tackle today’s most pressing global health challenges. he IUPUI Student Foundation gives students the opportunity to give back to IUPUI.

Mission

The IUPUI Student Foundation strengthens the sense of community at IUPUI through philanthropy, civic engagement, and volunteerism. Student involvement is encouraged through opportunities for students to develop leadership skills, serve their community, and gain experience in the planning and execution of campus-wide events. All activities of the IUPUI Student Foundation incorporate service, advocacy, and fundraising. The principal objectives of the IUPUI Student Foundation are to provide a superior leadership experience for IUPUI students, instill the importance of giving back in the IUPUI student body, and for students to build lifelong connections to IUPUI, the Student Foundation, and the Indiana University Foundation. These connections help students develop into future leaders that are service-oriented, philanthropically engaged, and civic-minded IUPUI alumni who will help transform lives and better the state, nation, and world.
