Your 2023 External Relations Directors!

Director of Alumni Relations: Natalie Holmes

First up, is the Director of Alumni Relations, Natalie Holmes. Natalie is in her fourth year of undergrad and has been involved with Jagathon since freshman year. Her previous positions include being a Marketing Committee Member, the Director of Campus Outreach, and the Director of Stewardship. Natalie’s role is to engage alumni and communicate throughout the year leading up to the main event.

  • Hometown: South Bend, Indiana
  • Major: Forensic Chemistry and Biology
  • Fun Fact: Natalie has a collection of Stitch socks and she loves Reese’s.
  • Favorite Jagathon Memory: Hanging out with fellow directors after Jagathon 2021
  • Why does Natalie dance?: Natalie is a Riley kid herself, and she has been going to Riley her entire life and they have saved her life numerous times.

Director of Cause Partnerships: D Martin

Next up, we have D Martin! D is the Director of Cause Partnerships! D is a senior and he started off as a participant his freshman year, then a Morale Committee Member and last year he was the Morale Song Chair. D is now the Director of Cause Partnerships and is the main point of contact for our Riley families and his role is to keep them engaged in the organization. He also organizes events for our amazing Riley families.

  • Hometown: Brownsburg, Indiana
  • Major: Exercise Science Pre-PT
  • Fun Fact:D has traveled to and hiked the Grand Canyon
  • Favorite Jagathon Memory:  Experiencing my first-ever fundraising total reveal during his freshman year as a participant. He could feel the passion, energy, and emotion throughout the entire room. Seeing how much money was raised for Riley Hospital for Children and knowing he was part of that total was BEYOND inspiring and motivated me to keep going with this organization. 
  • Why does D dance?:  D dances for every child who may not have the privilege of doing so. Knowing that he’s creating with every dollar that he fundraises and with the work he puts into making sure our Riley families are included continues to be his motivation for why he dances. 

Director of Creative Design: Aya Byers

Next up, the Director of Creative Design, Aya Byers! Aya is a sophomore and this is her first year involved with Jagathon and on the executive board. Aya’s role is to create graphics and all social media content.

  • Hometown: Aurora, Illinois 
  • Major:  Forensic and Biology
  • Fun Fact: Aya has been skating for 8 years and for 2 years she was a synchronized skater who competed at a professional level.
  • Favorite Jagathon Memory: My favorite memory is volunteering for battleships and taking photos in the pool.
  • Why does Aya dance?:  Aya dances to get involved with the wonderful community for a good cause. 

Director of Marketing: Brooke Kading

Next up is the Director of Marketing, Brooke Kading! Brooke is a Freshman and this is her first year involved with Jagathon and the Executive Board. Brooke’s role is to run the social media pages and make graphics for the social media and marketing.

  • Hometown: Vernon Hills, Illinois 
  • Major: Paramedic Science
  • Fun Fact: Brooke is an EMT.
  • Favorite Jagathon Memory: At the beginning of chamber, when each group had to create a short skit.
  • Why does Brooke dance?: Brooke dances to make a difference in at least one child’s life. Not only does she want to help give them better healthcare, she wants to make connections with the kids that will last a lifetime.

Director of Public Relations: Sahhi Moore

Our last director, the Director of Public Relations, Sahhi Moore! Sahhi is a sophomore and her Jagathon journey started her freshman year. She was a Committee Relations Chair on the Committee Relations Committee. Her role is to run the website and the blog, as well as developing events and relationships that connect Jagathon with the Indianapolis and central Indiana communities.

  • Hometown: Gary, Indiana
  • Major: Sports Management with a Kelley School of Business Certificate
  • Fun Fact: Sahhi loves sports and shoes! She is also obsessed with Justin Bieber.
  • Favorite Jagathon Memory: Jagathon 2022! This was her very first main event and it was everything she imagined and more.
  • Why does Sahhi dance?: Sahhi dances for kids who may never get the chance to dance or leave the hospital again and for a healthier future for the kids.
