Service is a foremost focus of VIDA Health Partnerships at IUPUI. We ae involved in both local and international service initiatives that provide our volunteers with opportunities to share their skills and talents through engagement with their community.
Service is the primary means by which VIDA student most directly impact the communities supported by VIDA Health Partnerships. At IUPUI, VIDA students serve as volunteers at one of VIDA’s international partner sites, specifically in the Dominican Republic, where they work closely with 7 Elements’ medical team and community partners to provide direct healthcare services, healthcare education to vulnerable populations, and support for human security disparities.
